Are they kidding £50 at modellers loft & £45 from pippens???!!!!
People are struggling enough to be able to afford new figures let alone paying out this much for just a uniform.
If it weren't for foreign etailers & i don't know how i'd be able to carry on with this hobby

That's going for US$55 on Merit International in the US. ML's 50 quid is US$81.72

Goes to show how much they're putting on top of these sets doesn't it?
I would've thought in times like these they'd be actively trying to encourage more people to use them not price them out of the hobby

Don't forget that VAT and Import Duty makes these items more expensive for UK traders to buy in in the first place!

I can't comment on Modellers Loft but I do know that Barry Pippen is a good guy trying to make a living and pay his mortgage just like the rest of us in these difficult times!

To be fair Barry has had these on his site for a few weeks, I dont know how long ML has planned to sell TC stuff but it seems a little bit strange for a shop that has stuck firmly to DID(which they have links), HT and DML for the last few years to be now stocking a lesser known foreign range. As for £45, for that you get one of the best manafactured 1/6 sets. For anyone who has'nt got a TC set I think you'll be quite suprised, the uniforms & leather work is if not on a par with DID - better.
