South Cheshire Militaire Show

Postby Winch on Thu Feb 19, 2009 9:15 pm

Have managed to get the UK 1/6th Enthusiasts Club a table for this show on this Sunday coming.

Its held in Crewe Cheshire more details at http://www.southcheshiremilitaire.co.uk/show.asp.

The organisers seem fascinated by a "new scale" so should be a good opportunity to promote the Club and the Hobby.

If anyone wants to come along and help out give me a shout not sure how many passes we get but should be a couple of spares!

Will post some pics after the event.
Regards

Winch

Hi Guys,
last Sundays show was an interesting experience and I felt a bit like a Missionary trying to convert people to the "new religion" of 1/6th! However we shifted a few flyers both for the upcoming Charnwood Arms Action Figure Show and the UK 1/6th Enthusiasts Club so hopefully we made a few converts! Also met a couple of old Club members so nice to see you rejoining the fold following "the late unpleasantness". So welcome aboard to the new members who have joined since the show whether you're "new converts" or "returning sinners" ;)

Gordons Diorama finally gets an outing! And shows that we can have a bit of a laugh with our Hobby too! ;)
The sign on top of the Diorama reads "The thing every soldier hates about house to house fighting is never knowing whats behind the next door!"

We also raised a few quid for the Meningitis Trust too! :)
