End of budget figures.

Hi all

Just had a look at the DML website and it would appear that their value range of figures was short lived, as they have announced they are no longer going to produce them.

Well that didn't last long did it!? So much for DML's commintment to the hobbyist during these financially trying times!

Call me a cynical conspiracy theorist if you like but since these were all effectively short kit re-issues of previous figures then maybe they just had certain figures as overstock and wanted to clear them?

It seems all that old stock is finding its way into this years Dragon Expo exclusive figures, all except the anti-tank gun has been seen before.

I think DML is dragging out all the old stuff to get an infusion of cash. Plus, I really don't think the Value + line was selling like they anticipated. Sad really. They could have brought out some nice stuff and probably shaken some money out of the market, even in these tight times. Their marketing department is soooooo cynical. I guess they actually think we will believe the fantasy press releases! Jeez!
